Offensive Woes
The Buffalo Bills' high-powered offense has hit a snag in recent weeks, with their wide receiver group continuing to underwhelm. Top target Stefon Diggs, now 31 years old, is no longer the dominant force he once was, and the rest of the receiving corps has failed to step up. Rookie Keon Coleman, in particular, has drawn the ire of coach Sean McDermott after another lackluster performance.
Quarterback Josh Allen has still been productive, but the lack of separation and playmaking ability from his receivers has hampered the Bills' passing attack. The team's "everybody eats" philosophy on offense has yet to materialize, putting added pressure on Allen to carry the load.
Injury Concerns
Adding to the Bills' offensive concerns are a number of key injuries. Tight end Dalton Kincaid, the team's leading receiver, was limited in practice this week due to an oblique injury. His status for Monday's game against the Falcons is uncertain.
Linebacker Matt Milano, a defensive stalwart, also missed practice on Thursday and appears doubtful to play in Week 6. The Bills' linebacker corps has been hit hard by injuries, forcing the team to bring back familiar face Baylon Spector to bolster the depth.
Upcoming Matchup
The Bills will look to get back on track when they travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons on Monday Night Football. With the passing game sputtering and injuries mounting, Buffalo will need to find a way to rediscover their dominant form if they hope to bounce back from their recent loss to the Patriots.
